Querying for user defined Field

Hello everyone,

seemingly simple question, how do I query for a User Defined Field within the Inventory Tab in Catalyst Center. You even have the section „advanced filters“ in the GUI, but I can’t find a custom field query anywhere. Is it only possible trough some API scripting?

Anyone able to help me out?

how about Action --> Inventory --> Manage user defined fields

There is no way to filter for user defined field contents in the inventory list view AFAIK. If you need to get a quick overview I think you can export the inventory contents to CSV and do the filtering in Excel. Other than this the API is the best way to interact with this data.

@Torbjørn  you are right, i have looked again when i had access DNAC(CC) the steps i was mentioned create, but there is no way we can look that, even i added filter to check, so export is good option. or to cisco wish list
