Regarding cisco ME3600X HSRP Active-Active

I have two CISCO ME3600Xs, redundant configured with HSRP.

The problem is that they are both stuck at active-active.
The standby shows up as unknown.

We have about 10 VLANs in use, consisting of interlinks and trunks with switches connected at the bottom.

Could this be an OS bug related to this?

I've looked in the bug reports, but there's nothing related, so it's hard to tell.

 Could be a bug but could be always connectivity problem. How they are connected? If via trunk, the VLAN was extended between them? If you ping the other side, does you get response?

Try debug standby packet 

See if both router send receive hsrp
