Hi,

I am trying to reimage NGFW 1k series from ASA to FTD.
Managed to download software to flash, but when trying to setup boot I am getting the following error:

ciscoasa(config)# boot system flash:/cisco-ftd-fp1k.7.2.5-208.SPA
INFO: Converting flash:/cisco-ftd-fp1k.7.2.5-208.SPA to disk0:/cisco-ftd-fp1k.7.2.5-208.SPA

The system is currently installed with security software package 9.16.2.3, which has:
- The platform version: 2.10.1.172
- The CSP (asa) version: 9.16.2.3
Preparing new image for install...
!Image download failure -
Error status: Download failure - Internal error (10)
Error message: End point timed out. Check for IP, port, password, disk space or network access related issues.#
ERROR: Unable to set this url

Not sure why I am getting download error here since the file is already on flash. Any idea?

Regards
Mariusz

Problem has been solved by formating flash (from "firepower-failed mode") and copying the image once again from TFTP, from rommon mode.

Thanks for quick reply @balaji.bandi

Image is on the disk0 already. When I am trying "boot system disk0:/cisco-ftd-fp1k.7.2.5-208.SPA" result is exactly the same

Free space is not an issue: 16106127360 bytes total (14761467904 bytes free).

I am following the article that you've posted.
