Service status in FMC CLI

I see some services as [ ? ].  What does this mean?  I see + or - for on/off and then there are the others.  Are these disabled?

I can't, but I can give the command and output.

service --status-all shows

[ ? ] acpid

[ - ] avahi-daemon

[ ? ] bind

etc etc.
