Special Feature License for Firepower

Hello,

I have smart license enabled on my FMC  and my FTDs are licensed by it for IPS, URL Filtering and AMP .. however Firepower Chassis are unregistered for Smart Licensing and i am not facing any problems due to this.

I read that Firepower Chassis devices independently do not require any license for standard operation.. is this correct ?

What does the special feature license offers for Firepower Chassis ?

yes correct that is just ans hardware. unlike any other UCS blade, you may need other smartnet for hardware replacement.
