Where to find boot image for ASA 5512-X

Level 1

Got a 10 year old ASA 5512-V03 that I'm using for my first home lab. It doesn't have a boot file image. Does anyone know where I can get the boot image? Should be a .bin file to my understanding. Not seeing anything on the cisco website for this.

This product is EoL. You can see the one available- this needs entitlement to download

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Thank you BB! I believe this will do. I don't have a service contract with them, and I don't think my day job has one either. Called support directly, explained my situation, they refused to work with me. Just trying to get this up and running so I can learn networking skills to eventually make a living. Very frustrating.

Besides that, I appreciate your time and assistance with this! Thank you.

I know you need a contract to download. You see the image name on that Cisco download site, try Google with the same name, you may be lucky, since you mentioned Lab, there are a lot of virtual images available for you to practice (until you are more keen on hardware devices).

hi @Ph1nix , you can download the final image still in the below link.

https://software.cisco.com/download/home/284143092/type/280775065/release/9.12.4%20Interim

but you need active contract to download. if you dont have try to contact cisco support and ask for favor. or if resellers who are around your place might help.
