Learning Hub Training - Options available

Wishing you all a very positive 2020 !

I have some questions around the Meraki Learning Hub and what and where i should be looking at improving my skills with Meraki products, and hence have some questions.

Is the ECMS1 and ECMS2 a Pre Requisite to the CMNA course? How do these courses differ?

I have passed the CMNA course already, hence would i benefit from taking the additional ECMS1 and ECMS2 courses?

When will the "Meraki Certification (Under Development)" become available, are there any time scales on this at all?

Thanks

Ian

Certified Meraki Networking Associate (CMNA) isn't deprecated. It's a Meraki partner-specific training, with trainings available in January or February depending on region. None close to me this round, so I'm glad my official mentee already went through it!

If you're a partner, run don't walk to go look at https://www.merakipartners.com/ to see if there's a session in your region. I believe they were just updated this morning.

Certified Meraki Network Operator (CMNO) is no longer a separate cred, tho, since ECMS1 replaced it. My partner took ECMS1, since his office runs a full Meraki stack now, and enjoyed it a great deal. I've done ECMS2, and enjoyed it more... even if I was allergic to my hotel room...

ECMS1 is the equivalent of CMNO [Cisco Meraki Network Operator]. CMNA is being depreciated. ECMS2 is that second course needed to obtain the CMSS [Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist] which should be getting released sometime in 2020.

@Nash do not know why but I thought it was being depreciated.

CMNA
Advance your ability to sell the Meraki the Meraki solution and configure key features through this hands-on technical program for pre-sales engineers.

Maybe it was about doing CMNO as opposed to CMNA because it that's more sales than anything.

The acronyms are so similar, it's designed for confusion.
