Recent dashboard problems

Hey guys,

I want to listen around if any of you is having following issues recently (from 1 month ago til today).

- We are using a shared account for a few engineers and recently I have to present MFA much more frequently than before. (no suspicious logins from other locations only more MFA prompts)

- Dashboard packet capture now always displays "failed to connect to server" and then after a few minutes waiting it does download the capture.

- Any org in our MSP portal that has a logout after x minutes of inactivity causes you being logged out after a measly 5 minutes, regardless of the setting of minutes.

I'm guessing this is from the new UI ? That problem haunts me.

Don't think so. I also have it when capturing on the MX and that is still the old packet capture, not the new "intelligent capture".

I'm having the same issues. I'm just tired of opening cases 😪

Same, I've started using span ports for captures instead or directly on the switches that can handle it since we don't use Meraki switches.

I have this happen intermittently, but regularly. Many times a week.

I *think* this is related to existing unused sessions (such as when someone just quites the browser).

Go to "My Profile" (in the top right-hand corner), and then down to "Active Sessions". I'm up to 63 at the moment. From time to time, I need to use the "Sign out all other sessions" to clear them out, and then I think it works better.

When I get logged out for inactivity, I try to use the "resume session" option. It is in small print on the logout page. This helps prevent another session from being created.

I have also found that the mfa 'remember me' now only works occasionally. Often I have to re enter it only half an hour after I last did. Sigh...

I really wish they'd stop adding new features for a bit and just got what is there working properly first. It's becoming embarrassing, especially at customers that I'd only recently introduced to Meraki.

Tease me. Try the option above to log out of every session, and see if it is still as bad.

I will do, I'll also report how many sessions I have...

So that user does have 300+ active sessions.
Does anyone know of an API endpoint to remove almost all sessions at once?
Doing manually requires clicking and waiting until page refreshes...

Does this option not work?

That option does not appear on my view.

!!! Painful.

Have you got an intern that can do a lot of mouse clicking for you?

Latest dashboard issue I have found is trying to change an AP from static IP to DHCP. The drop down opens behind the main dialogue box so you have to know what key combinations are required to change it, with it being completely hidden... The same applies for the IPv6 mode...
