I have set up a vFTD in Azure in hopes to connect to my on-prem FMC. When trying to connect the vFMC I am not even able to type the commands to register the device to the FMC…

One thing I was unclear about per the KB when setting up the vFTD in Azure https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/quick_start/consolidated_ftdv_gsg/ftdv-gsg/m-ftdv-azure-gsg.html#task_7759527 was when I use the PAYG option. Do I need to use the BYOL or PAYG to manage the FTD with my on-prem FMC?
