Cisco ClamAV database update connectivity

Dear Cisco Community,

I am developing a dockerised service (e.g., docker image) which downloads and utilises the ClamAV from Cisco. As part of the docker build, I need to download database updates from http://database.clamav.net.

However, I have been receiving the following errors from ClamAV

  • 403 forbidden
  • CloudFlare Error 1020 (Access Denied)

I am writing this inquiry to seek official help from Cisco and ClamAV community to know:

  • if there is any firewall rule that Cisco have to allow from their end
  • if there is any kind of authentication Cisco needs me to pass

Is there any direct contact from Cisco for me to call on Microsoft Teams and share screens?
