As you already mentioned, there is no CCNA Cloud any more.
Some thoughts on the cloud way:
- Although networking works sometimes differently with the cloud-platforms, you will face challenges with routing protocols sooner or later. Getting skills there is important. This could be done by studying for the ENCORE.
- Security is extremely important with all cloud platforms, studying for SCOR could help.
- Of course both of the above are Cisco-focused and include lots of stuff that is not cloud related. But it will help you being a better cloud-engineer.
- All major cloud providers have their own certification path and also free learning paths.
- If you want to focus on cloud security, the CCSP by (ISC)2 could be a good thing to study.
