Is it possible to use Umbrella and Meraki to lockdown specific computers on a subnet?
Currently Meraki/Umbrella are working. The default policy works fine blocking access to undesirable sites. However, there is a specific set of computers on a shop floor that we want to lock down to allow only certain websites (Microsoft Office).
We have a lockdown policy that applies fine to computers with the agent installed but when we add the Meraki device to the identity list for that policy then the lockdown applies to ALL systems.
Any advice? (Note, we cannot deploy the appliance because they have XenServer, not VMWare, HyperV or KVM). Thank you.

Dear,
are you integrated Meraki via SIG solution or only via DNS essential license?
Only using the DNS solution you should install the Virtual Appliance in order to have a complete visibility on your internal network.
If you have the Advanced license on your MX you can integrate Umbrella via API.

So... without MX there is no chance to make it ?

Hi Alex,
you can integrate Umbrella with MR, so with Meraki's access point.

Meraki MR and Umbrella - Secure and manage Wi-Fi from a single dashboard For additional control and convenience at the wireless layer, you can choose to apply Umbrella policies directly in the Meraki dashboard. This makes it easier to manage your global wireless infrastructure and report on user traffic.
