Umbrella SWG

Hello There,

we are currently running cisco umbrella DNS security and we are looking to rely on umbrella and have all the features such as CDF and SWG as a vision of SIG.

we know that the current CDF is only layer 3 and layer 4 firewall and in the roadmap there will be a support for layer 7 firewall capability.

but our concern now is with the SWG, can the SWG fully replaces the fully web proxy security solutions? is there any main key features ?

Hi HafeezAli,

there are some of the features that don't exist in umbrella SWG such as the below:
User agent–based access policy
Time-based access policy
Quota-based access policy

however, you can still integrate umbrella with cisco WSA to manage and control these policies as per the link below:
