We been using Connect for a few months now and really like it. We just got the archiving working and I thought I had posted enhancement requests here but I don't see them; anyway I would like to get more information (Docs) on the server side IM Logging and forwarding ( the 3 options). Right now I have it set to email me the conversations and I am getting SPAMmed with these IM's, first; I get one email for every line, one from me to another employee, and one to that employee (two emails), so this doesn't really show me a conversation so much as a one liner in one direction.
Yes I know this is suppose to go to an archiving system, but we are a small shop and don't have one (hence the desire to learn more about each of the options). The other issues are I get the emails as they happen, I would like to see the following enhancements (request)
String the conversation together, then email it to me.
Let me choose how often I wish to receive the emails, once a day, once a week. etc.
If there is a better way to get the IM conversations please let me know.
The other question I has was on group chat; can I not have a group chat with domain members (internal) and external IM people? I can IM these people, but when I try to include them in a group chat I get a warning they could not be invited due to my security setup. I can't see any place where I can set (or restrict) group chat to only domain members I have group chatted with Cisco before so I know Connect to connect works.
