Can the camera cts-phd1080p12xs2, be connected to a laptop directly and used as webcam?

I am owning telepresense system with streaming service setup and everything.

My question is, can i use only the camera part ( cts-phd1080p12xs2), as a web cam.

But connecting just camera through the HDMI cable or something and enabling it to make me use of it for skype sessions.

Please tell me if there are any additional softwares required to be used or to be setup.

You won't be able to plug the camera that comes with a Cisco endpoints into a computer, the computer won't recognize the camera as they are meant to be used with a video conference endpoint and not a computer.  Cisco does however have a PrecisionHD USB Camera, here is the data sheet.

If you do want to use the PHD camera with your computer, I came across this online and if you don't mind having extra hardware etc, you could try the following:
