Has anyone here successfully enabled Cisco Directory Connector (DC) avatar syncing where the avatar is stored in Sharepoint? The Cisco documentation is very limited for this functionality.
I am attempting to pull photo data from Sharepoint, but a 401 is returned when the DC attempts a connection. The reason for the 401 is clear, the DC is not using any credentials to login to the Sharepoint site. I would expect the DC to use the domain credentials as a login, which is the same as it uses for the dirsync service. However, it doesn't do this.
It could be I'm misunderstanding how the DC pulls avatars. If pulling directly to the DC, is an anonymous connection required? Or if not directly, does the connection need to transit a proxy that handles the login functions?
