For best user experience with Cisco Jabber 9.2(windows), end users need to have call control capability from headsets
With Cisco Jabber 9.2, one can do call control (Answer call, End call, Mute / Unmute, Change Volume) with Jabra headsets (www.jabra.com/cisco)
For call control you need to do following:
- Get Jabra PC Suite 2.11.3231 and higher
- Get Jabra headsets (FREE for your pilot or deployments, certain condition apply, see below)
- Enable Accessory Manager from Cisco CUCM (see Cisco Jabber 9.2 release notes and Jabber installation doc)
1. Jabra PC Suite
Jabra PC Suite 2.11.3231 can be downloaded FREE from http://www.jabra.com/Support/jabra-PC-suite
2. Get Jabra Headset
If you are installing Jabber or doing pilot Cisco Jabber you can get upto 5 FREE Jabra devices: http://www.jabra.com/campaigns/cisco-jabber-pilot
Look into webpage for more details. Min company size need to be 500 users
3. Enable Accessory Manager from Cisco CUCM
By default, Accessory Manager is disable in Cisco Jabber. This can be enable from Cisco CUCM. Below is link for more information on how to enable acessory manager
