Actually this was a problem with the TCT device configuration where the SIP Profile was set to Standard and the Timer for the subscription expiration was too short. I guess Standard is around 60 Minutes and for Mobile devices Cisco recommends 360 Minutes.
So this problem was not caused by IOS or running Jabber in Background.
Additionally we have changed to APNS which works fine for us.

Hi,
we have some users running Jabber on IOS devices. The user complaint that during the day the jabber app is sometimes closed on the mobile device. They recognized it because they are using shared line with a deskphone and/or Softphone and the Jabber App suddenly doesn't ring at incoming call.
Does anybody know what causes the jabber app to close on IOS?
Any help appreciated, Thanks!
