I am running CUAC version 10.5 and according to the compatibility Matrix found here
CUAC Compatibility Matrix with Microsoft Server and SQL - Cisco
I can run this version on SQL 2012 R2 (64-bit) and Windows 2014 Exp, Std, Ent (32/64-bit).
I am not a Windows or SQL guy at all so I was wondering if I can have my server team upgrade the existing servers SQL version and Windows version? Once that is done I should be able to upgrade CUAC to 12.0 with no issues.
