Hello All,

Is there a way to added/append a user extension in Unity Connection 15 Unified Messaging that is in addition to the actual number (1??????????). Thanks.

Navigate to System Settings > Subject Line Formats to look for this setting. It is limited and these settings are about the sender's information, not the recipient's. But I think this is what you are asking for. That said, the guide says these apply to "Web Inbox, Messaging Inbox, an IMAP client, an RSS client, or any other visual client that displays the message subject." My organization does get the caller ID name and number in the subject line in our Unified Messaging.

I hope this is helpful.

Do you mean that you want to configure an additional extension as "belonging" to a particular voicemail box? If so, that would be an Alternate Extension (configurable on a User voicemail box).

If not, can you explain what you want to do in a little more detail?

Hey Maren, Several people get a unified messaging email and have asked if it is possible to show the VM box number and the extension that left the message. Ex: 1??????????. Ext ?????.

Thank you.
