CUCM 10.5.1 and jabber for android Problem

Hello everyone,

We have cucm 10.5.1 and we are having a issue with jabber for android clients.

The phone profiles are created and the users can Lon into Im and Telephony with the first Phone they logged. But when they want to log in from a diferent android device it only connect to Im services and says:" can not connect to telephony server", but then try login again with the first phone and works well for Im and telephony.

On devices-> phone, on the profile of a android user says unregistered and ip (the first phone ip), i don't know if keeping this ip cause the behavior.

That's the expected behavior, you're not supposed to log into more than one device that uses the same device type in CUCM. If you do, you'll only log into IM, as you're seeing.

If he wants to use another device, he'll need another BOT profile in CUCM with a different userID.

i tried this:

same user on all phones for this test

Samsung Note4: IM and Telephony

Xperia Z2: IM and Telephony

Samsung s5: IM and Telephony

Xperia SP: just IM

Jaime, does CUCM support all android devices?

The Jabber documentation has the list of devices that were tested, and are fully supported, anything not included in the list, that meets the requirements *might* work.
