CUCM 10.5 Security Certificates For Jabber

Hi,

I have a question regarding Security Certificates for Jabber.

I'm planning to migrate from Tandberg/Cisco enviroment to CUCM enviroment. I will be deploying a totally new videoconferencing infraestructure including a new VCS Expressway.

Basically what I need to know is, if do I have to purchase a third party certificate for jabber clients (PC, iphone, tablets) or if I can use an internal sign certificate (sign from a domain server).

Is there an specific recommendation from Cisco ?
Is there a best practice policy about this issue ?

Use a public CA to avoid the overhead of having to push your own certs to every single device. This has been discussed in several threads in CSC before.
