We have an environment with application whitelisting configured, and we cannot allow software to execute out of the user's profile for security and compliance reasons, but we see no way to disable Spark automatically updating and installing there resulting in the software only working once and being blocked by our whitelisting software for subsequent launches.
Is there a way to disable Spark automatically updating in this manner and allowing us to manage application updates via our enterprise management instead?

Hello Mat,
unfortunately we don't have settings in customer admin pages to disable automatic updates. This is cloud based product developed with agile and devops model in mind. If you require more stable and less frequent builds with more deployment controls, you can look in to using our Jabber application instead.
Thank you

Matt, if disabling the feature is not possible then how about publisher signing your updates?
