Hi Folks, I'm really struggling with upgrading a IM&P cluster from 8.6 to 10.0 so I'm exploring the deletion and re-creation of the cluster as TAC just can't fix it migration. So what i need to confirm is that when i delete the publisher all the users buddy lists will also be deleted OR if I move the users to a subscriber, delete the publisher and re-create the publisher as version 10. Could I move the users back to the publisher and the users buddy list will be preserved? I'm not convinced it'll be successful.
Hi Richard, Thanks for that - I ended up doing a fresh install - apparently there is a bug in the upgrade procedure if duplicate entries are found. It seems a LOT of people have had this issue.
