Is Jabber support in CUCME 10.5 for MAC

Any one know if jabber support with CUCME for MAC.I am getting the below error message.

However with following restrictions:

 

Restrictions

  • The Cisco Jabber CSF client (full UC mode) should register with a presence server such as cloud-based Webex server, or a Cisco Unified Presence server to enable the telephony features on the Jabber client.
  • The Cisco Jabber CSF client supports only the visual voice mail functionality using Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) on the Cisco Unity Connection.
  • The Cisco Jabber CSF client does not support phone based software conferencing.
  • The Cisco Jabber CSF client supports only the softphone mode with Cisco Unified CME.
  • Desk phone mode is not supported.
  • The following Cisco Jabber CSF type of devices are not supported:

Cisco Jabber for MAC (phone-only mode)

Cisco Jabber for iPhone (both full UC mode and phone-only mode)

Cisco Jabber for Android (both full UC mode and phone-only mode)

Cisco Jabber for iPad (both full UC mode and phone-only mode)

Hi,

I think I misunderstood your question.

Could you please post your router config for the CME?

 

I think you may want to add is

sip-ua

authentication username xxxxx password yyyyy

Running config attached.Cisco Tac says Jabber on MAC for CME is not support yet.The phone only mode works with windows only. Is that command need to add under sip-ua?

I was referring to the document I saw on Cisco CME doc
 and per that it should support, could you please ask TAC, what does this document mean then?

Cisco Jabber for MAC is supported only in Full UC Mode.

 

Now the restriction section of the document states following information.

Hence at the moment, Jabber on MAC is only supported in full UC mode and for full UC mode we need we need to register with a presence server such as cloud-based WebEx Server.

 

I have already raised a defect for support of “cucm-uds” query on CME.

Once we have the support of cucm-uds query on CME, we would be able to register Jabber on MAC

trying to register windows jabber 11.1.0 to cme 10.5 and get:
