My question for you is why even have chat rooms if your not going to persist the chats?.. just leave it alone and keep going with your non persistent chat rooms.
i know this doesn't answer your question but. A question everyone else might have is why can't you only archive chat rooms and not the peer to peer communications. the response i got from tac is that it will monitor every chat .. there is no way to disable it.
