Jabber 11.7 - Cannot communicate with the server

In the new version of Jabber for Windows were can you tell the client the servers address? There used to be an advance option to do that with now it looks like it is gone.

Reset Jabber, that will give you advance option.

Resetting your jabber should give you an option for advance setting. in case if that doesn't help then you may have to disable the UPN discovery.

Tried resetting it and still nothing, still cannot see the advance setting.

Please disable UPN discovery. You can do it during jabber installation through a installer.

During install I dont get any option to uncheck anything I have tried it twice and no option other than install.

You need to use install switch

msiexec.exe /i CiscoJabberSetup.msi UPN_DISCOVERY_ENABLED=false
