Jabber - Add new contact, tedious

Hello.

This is a feature request / improvement.

I am using Cisco Jabber 12.0.1 (not by my choice).

To add a new contact I have to: click by mouse the cog icon, then click File - New - Contact.

It is quite tedious and annoying. Far too much effort to do something so common.

There should be simply a + icon before that cog, to just add contact. Also would be good to have "add contact" in right click menu on a group.

Another issue. One can not drag and drop contacts between groups. Have to right click on contact, pick Move to group etc.

Hope this will be addressed and fixed soon. I used few other chat programs and all were much more convenient.

As I already mentioned, you need to get in touch with your SE/AM for this.

How do I know who that is in my organization? Do I need to contact our Helpdesk?

It seems you're an end user, yes, this needs to come from your support team, or whoever in your organization is in contact with your Cisco SE/AM.

Seems to me that open source programs make these things easier for users/contributors.
