Jabber and Outlook Contact Card

Hi All,

When a person say is sending an email to someone from the corporate directory and they double click the user to open the contact card the Work contact appears as the SIP URI, I would like to default this to the Telephone Number only. Doing this when Jabber is not running displays the Telephone number. Office version is 2010 Pro Plus

Steps to reproduce:
1. With Jabber 9.6 installed and SIP URI enabled, open Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010
2. Find an email from a contact who is on Jabber contact list
3. On the Call drop-down in the email, compare the numbers displayed with those displayed on Jabber

Expected result:
Jabber displays Work: 123456 and Work: joe@blogs.com and so does Outlook

Actual result:
Jabber displays Work: 123456 and Work: joe@blogs.com but Outlook only displays Work: joe@blogs.com
 

The issue is on outlook side not jabber.

Workaround:
Use the Work URI to place call
 

Here is some more information on the bug.

There is a limitation in Outlook 2007/2010 where there is only one work number can be displayed in Outlook contact card. When uri dialing is enabled on Jabber For Windows, the outlook contacts work number will be replaced by the uri. This is a limitation of the outlook contact card.When uri is configured on the client the the primary work number display in outlook contact card will be the users sip uri. If uri dialing is not enabled, the users directory number will be displayed.
