Jabber for Mobile and Expressway

Hello All,

I am working for a client who provide corporate mobile phones ( iphones and androids) to their employees.

Their concern is if there is a way that they can block an employee from using Jabber on their personal mobile device and traversing through the firewall using expressway and force to the employees to only use it on the company provided devices.

I don't know any possibility to do this when using expressway.
You can use any device with the jabber software installed to connect. Softphone only works if there is a phone configured. You can even use any xmpp-client to connect to the company im&p system.

You might be able to achiv this using anyconnect instead of expressway.
