Hello, in need for some advice fixing this issue. CUCM is syncing users from Microsoft LDAP without problems. LDAP user can login on CUCM/ccmuser page. However cannot on IM&P. J4W login with local CUCM user goes fine. Have checked all the obvious. Platform runs 10.5.2. Tried with J4W 11. Also tried an old 9.2 client to bypass Certificate issues. But when the ldap user enters it username@domain the wrong username or password message is displayed.
I presume the 3rd party LDAP is not required on IM&P.
Is it correct to say that J4W client does its authentication straight with LDAP?
If DC has the FQDN dc1.usenet.a.dept.org.no and issued the CA certificate, MUST the UC domain be the same, i.e. user@usenet.a.dept.org.no or can it be user@a.dept.org.no as well, as this is how the user is defined in Ldap and this is how the UC domain is configured on the IM&P server.
Furthet I am not sure which logs to check with the RTM tool.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction. Many thanks on forehand!

Have you already reviewed all the integration to IM&P and the config for the users?
Do you see the users in IM&P??
I'd start by reviewing a PRT

Hello Jaime and thanks for your promt reply. Ldap users are correctly populated to IM&P. Sorry for my ignorance, but what is a PRT :) ?

Problem Reporting Tool, it will be under the help menu in the client.

Unfortunately I cannot post this info due to the type of customer. Can you look at my comment about the domain? And does the Jabber client authenticate directly with the LDAP server? Thx!

Then I suggest you call TAC so they can look into this.
You'll need to login using your JID, and the authentication is not directly between Jabber and the LDAP server.
