Hello everyone,
Some users have been complaining that when they are on a conference call and then they receive a 2nd call which they answer, the first call (as expected) goes on hold, but then the other people on the conference call hear music on hold which they find very annoying.
I know that it is possible to prevent MOH for conference calls in service parameters (in clusterwide parameters), and I think it is also possible to set the 'run flag' on the MOH server (media resources > MOH server) to false.
Unfortunately, we use an external conferencing system, so the service parameter (above) won't work. And I only want to prevent MOH only when (Jabber) users are using our external conferencing service.
Does anyone know if there is it is possible to selectively stop MOH for Jabber users only, or when users call a specific number (the external conference number)??
thankyou very much in advance.

That will get you TOH, I actually meant to upload a recording of silence.

You would need to set them to send a blank MOH for ALL calls, there is no way to set this per call, or per source.

thankyou for getting back to me - do you mean setting:
User Hold MOH Audio Source = <None>
Network Hold MOH Audio Source = <None>
in the CSF/TCT/BOT/TAB device pages?
