Jabber One-Way Audio with IP Phone When Using BiB for Call Recording

I am experiencing a one-way audio issue when using Cisco Jabber on Windows with Built-in-Bridge (BiB) enabled for automatic call recording. The issue occurs when Jabber calls a physical IP phone, and the audio is only heard in one direction and sometimes there is no audio. 

  • If I disable BiB, the audio works fine, but I need BiB enabled for call recording.
  • If I enable "MTP Required" on Jabber, the issue is temporarily fixed, but after a few calls, the problem returns.

Any guidance or best practices for handling BiB with Jabber and call recording would be greatly appreciated
