Jabber - Save chats to Microsoft Outlook Certificate Question

Jabber for Windows 10.6 and 11

I am working to enable this feature. On my tests once enabled users are getting a certificate pop-up they must accept from the cert on the exchange server. This cert is signed by an outside CA not our root CA. Can I upload this cert as is or do I need to get it resigned by our root CA? Once done what Certificate Name do I use (tomcat, tomcat-trust...)?
