Hi,

Is there any something that determine bandwidth usage Jabber desktop for Windows screen sharing on Call Manager ?

I have two regions and bandwidth settled up for video is 384K and audio is 64K on Call Manager.

Between two side has enterprise network so we do not have any bandwidth problem.

For audio they using is 99xx phones. Jabber desktop only for chat and screen sharing. No CFS device created on Call Manager.

Customer complaining is slow screen sharing capabilities on Jabber Desktop for Windows.

Is there any something I can do about it ?

Versions : CCM 10.5.2.12901-1, IMP 10.5.2.22900-2, Jabber for Win 11.1.0. build 21135.

I found that table on Jabber deployment document. How could I see that table ?

Cisco Jabber for Windows separates the bit rate for audio and then divides the remaining bandwidth equally between interactive video and presentation video. The following table provides information to help you understand what performance you should be able to achieve per bandwidth:

Upload speed

Audio

Audio + Interactive video (Main video)

Audio + Presentation video (Desktop sharing video)

Audio + Interactive video + Presentation video

125 kbps under VPN

At bandwidth threshold for g.711. Sufficient bandwidth for g.729a andg.722.1
