Jabber Video drivers for Intel Imaging Signal Processor 2300 (dual camera)

There is another thread with some unresolved info but this is frustrating as hell! I use a tablet for travelling and it cannot do Jabber video calls effectively because Cisco has not implemented the intel video drivers correctly. Most other 3rd party video collaboration apps work fine. I use Lync 2013 and Skype as well. Everytime I need to do a video conference I end up asking the opposite end to hop on Lync 2013 as opposed to Jabber. Considering client demos etc would be handy with the tablet and Jabber, its embarrasing having to explain to a customer that Lync and Skype support more open standards and cameras than Cisco and Jabber.

Please fix. Problem is inherent on the new tablets with Atom processors that support 720p video.

While I can understand your frustration that the software doesn't work with the Atom processory that you have - as you're aware, it has been mentioned in a few other threads that the software isn't supported by Cisco on an Atom processor..

If you really must have it fixed, I suggest you log a "Feature Request" through your Cisco Account Manager - that's the best way to escalate the issue to the right place in Cisco to have it looked in to.

One fix to your issue would be to use a non-Atom processor device for your traveling.  That's something you can do to help yourself immediately rather than wating for a possible fix (which may never be coming).
