we are trying to migrate from Mattermost to WebEx Teams, which looks really good, except that we miss the key feature to edit previous messages: The feature could look like the image attached (which is very similar to Mattermost). Also pressing the "Arrow Up" button should open the editor for the previous post. Mattermost adds a "modified at {timestamp}" tag at the message, so you can detect if it was modified after you read it. I do not believe that this feature will be abused, but if you fear so, it might be disabled as an option for each channel? (Or actively enabled for a channel)
As we use that feature frequently, it's hard to live without when we had it before. Right now we decided not to switch to WebEx Teams as this feature was voted essential. We hope it will be considered :)
Additionally a small request: Typing ":" and directly following three letters should open a suggestion for smilies tagged with these letters (e.g. :see should suggest :see_no_evil: smilie) :)
