Hi,

Is there a possibility to get a phonebook from TMS  to a MRA registered MX200/300 ?

Hi Martin

I would be very interested to also learn if this is possible.

At the moment I think all we can do is import local contacts on to the VC system in a CSV or other format. That's not really a solution as the contacts need to be updated manually (locally). So although a workaround, not a good one.

Look forward to getting a formal response on this one.

If your TMS server URL (https://yourTMSserver/tms/public/external/phonebook/phonebookservice.asmx) is accessible from wherever the endpoint is located, then it should be possible to get the endpoint to query TMS for the phonebook.

Hi,

Yes we know, but that works with only one single MRA registered device.

If you want to import a second MRA registered device to TMS (for mapping the phonebooks) it will fail, because all the MRA registered devices have the same IP address (IP of Expr-C).

Per the TMS 15.4 release notes, devices located behind collaboration edge are not supported.

That said, there should be no reason you couldn't push a phonebook to them, assuming the TMS phonebook service URL is in your MRA whitelist configuration.
