multi party video with Windows jabber client

Hello,

I have setup a Unified CM and IM/presence server. I have configured softphones for the users. I can get video/audio working between 2 Windows jabber clients however when I try with the 3th person the 2nd person get disconnected. So it seems there is something missing to do multi party video. Any suggestions?

Hi Gysenpa,

You can do this with a video MCU.

Basically you will need to register a video mcu:

1) a full blown video MCU

or

2) a router with PVDM3 modules, and setup as a homogeonus conference bridge

add this device to your media resource group & you will be fine..

we are using a 2900 router with PVDM3's
