Running Office 365 on my MAC (Mojave) and started to have an issue where periodically when I would switch from my Inbox to my Calendar (or any other section whether it be Tasks, Contacts) the left pane would switch to show the Calendar applet but the right pane would stay stuck on my Inbox and the only resolution was to restart Outlook. When this happens I was also not able to switch between other open programs on my MAC or use the four-finger swipe (Mission Control) until I closed Outlook.
From past experience with Windows I looked at any add-ins that were installed and knew WebEx was one. I uninstalled it and monitored for several days and the problem never reoccurred. I reinstalled the latest version of WebEx tools and a couple of days later the problem occurred again.
I am on the fast release of Office so tried downgrading but it isn't tied to the version of Outlook I am running.
Not a show-stopper just very annoying... :)
