Pidgin Access

I setup a free Spark account a few months ago. It is a nice offering. I access via your web of https://web.ciscospark.com/

I would like to use my Pidgin client to access the messaging features of Spark. Is Pidgin access an option with your free Spark offering?

No, there is no access to Cisco Spark using Pidgin client today.

Thank you, Louis. I appreciate you providing me this information. I hope Cisco will one day allow third-party messenger access to Spark.

It's kinda surprising. Spark, before acquisition was an XMPP server, and pdigin speaks XMPP.

So in order for this to be broken, Cisco must have managed to break all sorts of XMPP pieces.

I wonder if the responder understands that it is XMPP access that is being asked for.
