We have 2 CUCM 8.6 and one presnce server 8.6. users are imported from AD. There are 255 users and all of them are CUPC status enabled except one user. That user shows status unassigned. If I try assign the status I get error "Unable to change assignment for 1 users. Please ensure the users are not already assigned locally or in a remote cluster."

Before 3 months back cusm and presence was upgrade from 8.0 to 8.x to get jabber functionality.

Hi Mohammed,

You have intercluster peer configured? This usually happens when you have the same user assigned in the remote cluster (which is the intercluster peer).

if you don't have intercluster configured, try to restart interclsuetr sync agent service.

I have single CUPS .6. No cluster. Resterted service. No luck.

Other thing is why is it happening only with that user and other users are fine ??
