If you're a WebEx Connect customer and you're looking for the latest client to download please contact your Cisco representative to request it.
If you're a Guest Edition user (not a paid customer) Tere's link will work fine for you. Just keep in mind it's not the latest version - it's one version behind and still uses AIM for IM and presence.

Thanks for your answers. The only way to get the client is to register. If you are already registered on other computer, there is no way to have client on second PC. finally I managed to get the xxx.msi file from the first one and install on second one.

Hey Zoltan
Are you referring to the version that allows integration with Unified Communications Manager?
see link below:
http://www.webex.com/webexconnect/help/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm
This would be nice to have.
Thanks.

Hey Barry,
No, that's something a bit different. Basically you can get:
WebEx Connect Guest Edition: This is the WebEx Connect client and comes at no cost. It's meant for WebEx Connect customers to be able to point their partners/vendors/customers to so they can collaborate externally with those parties. The Guest Edition has a few restrictions (5 spaces, 250 MB storage, no admin tools) and is a version behind (C5.1), so it still uses AIM for IM/presence. This is what you can download here: www.webexconnect.com
WebEx Connect C6: This is the paid version that we are selling now
Cisco Unified Communications Integration for WebEx Connect: I know, it's a mouthful =). This is the plugin that hooks up your UC Manager with WebEx Connect. It's not officially released yet (though it will be in a little over a month. And yes, it's pretty sweet.

I had the WebEx Connect Guest client on my laptop but had to re-image the machine today. How can I reload the client without registering as a new user?
Thanks,
Matt

Hi. I re-installed Webex Connect and I now get a "Unable to locate server, please contact your administrator" when I try to sign in (I noticed someone else had this issue as well). Can you please advise what needs to be done to login to the client?
Thank you,
Matt

Hi Folks,
From the message you have received I'm going to guess the both of you have been using the WebEx Connect Guest Edition. This is the free version you may have downloaded here: www.webex.com/go/wc.
If that's the case you will not be able to use the C6 client due to the fact that you have a Guest Edition account. Guest Edition accounts are still running on the C5.1 deployment which utilizes AIM for presence and IM. While using the Guest Edition you'll still be able to interoperate with people using C6, but you won't be able to use a C6 client.
Your options are to:
- Roll back to the Guest Edition client. You can download this here: https://download.webexconnect.com/connect/aim/webexconnect.exe
- Upgrade your account to C6. If you're a paid customer you can contact your Cisco WebEx rep to get this moving. If you're a partner, please contacxt your partner rep to get this moving.
If I'm mistaken and you haven't been using the Guest Edition, sorry to say that all I can recommend is contacting support.

Hi,
I had the same problem. Here is waht I did.
0. Uninstall current version of Webex Connect
1. Go to : http://support.webex.com/support/downloads.html?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=DownloadsHome
( Webex.com > Support> Technical Support > Support Utilities )
2. Download and run Connect removal tool C5 or C6 based on your connect client version.
3. Reinstall Webex Connect (https://download.webexconnect.com/connect/aim/webexconnect.exe)
It worked for me.
