HI All
I have three questions about managing user accounts on CWMS.
1) Cisco document mentions that an password creation email will be sent to a new manually added user, but the document doesn't mention whether a new user imported via cvs file will be sent an password creation email or not?
2) If a new user was added to CWMS via LDAP sync, will CMWS send an email notify the user about the creation of the account automatically?
3) If a user account was imported to CWMS via cvs file , if LDAP sync is enabled after on, will the user account be overrided or the user account will be duplicated?
Thanks
Danny

Hi Danny,
Let me answer your questions:
1) Yes. Accounts imported via CSV when you use local user accounts (no Directory Integration or SSO) if marked as Active when importing will get a "Action required: Create a password for your new account" e-mail from the system.
2) Only if you Enable LDAP Authentication you can configure notifications about the account creation to be sent out. You can configure it to be automatic by checking the "Automatically send out notifications", or you can manually click on "Notify Now" button to inform all the imported users of the account creation.
3) If the account e-mail address is the same locally as it is on CUCM, the account won't be overridden. If an e-mail address is different, a new account will be created while the local account will be deactivated.
I hope this helps.
