Hi All ,
I am getting this error on opening Configuration Manager in Distributor AW  "-9986:Session to local database could not be opened" . Th error is in rtdist process showing the AW as disconnected and updateaw process showing the error "Pipe has ended "
Even on restarting the Router , Logger , AW services the issue did not resolve .
Even on running "Initialise Local Database " no result .
Can anyone please provide any pointers .
Thanks and regards,
Dipika Gupta

There is probably an issue connecting to the DB.  Did you check the odbc settings on the server ? Is that configured correctly ?  Does your account have permissions.  You may want to check that.
