Created by: Andrew Higgins on 11-09-2009 11:07:46 PM The IVR tab contains a setting for "Use backup ASR/TTS servers". This setting works for microapps but does not appear to work for Call Studio applications running against VXML Server. The VoiceXML Programmer's Guide (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/voice/vxml/developer/guide/vxmlprg.html) covers different methods that can be used in the event of an ASR or TTS server failure which seem to be more applicable to Studio / VXML Server (such as handling error.noresource within the Studio app). Documentation is unclear, should the Call Server setting work for microapps only or both? Thank you,
Andrew
Subject: RE: Call Server - Use backup ASR/TTS servers Replied by: Cun Yong Tan on 16-09-2009 08:22:15 PM The "Use backup ASR/TTS servers" only works for microapps. Same goes for all the other settings in the IVR tab like "Use backup media server", "Media server retry attempts", "ASR/TTS server retry attempts" etc.
