Phani -

With all due respect, and I know I'm not the first to express this concern to you, this forum is meant to be an information sharing resource that may also provide "support" in the context of shared experience and ideas.

Your post is a pretty open-ended request with little to no information on what your environment is and what you're really looking for.

On the one hand, I could interpret your request as a request for a link to standard documentation. If that is the case, the document you should start with is the Configuration and Administration Guide for CVP, located here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/custcosw/ps1006/products_installation_and_configuration_guides_list.html

On the other hand, based on your other numerous other posts, I could interpret your request as one for step-by-step guidance on setting up a system with CVP and Nuance, and that is clearly not what this forum should be used for.

Bill,

I know VoiceGateway Configuration

ip host asr-en-us 10.86.177.39
ip host tts-en-us 10.86.177.39

ivr asr-server rtsp://10.86.177.39/recognizer
ivr tts-server rtsp://10.86.177.39/synthesizer

What else we need to do on CVP side to integrate with Nunace.

I am little confused about CSS configuration

content ASR add service asr1 add service asr2 primarySorryServer asr3 protocol tcp port 554 vip address 10.1.3.12content TTS add service tts1 add service tts2 primarySorryServer tts3 protocol tcp port 554 vip address 10.1.3.13

Thanks,
Phani.

Is that necessary to go with IP addresses in the following statement or we can mention Host name instead of Ip adderesses. Here these ip addresses or host name belongs to TTS servers right?

ip host asr-en-us 10.86.177.39
ip host tts-en-us 10.86.177.39

ivr asr-server rtsp://10.86.177.39/recognizer
ivr tts-server rtsp://10.86.177.39/synthesizer

If you don’t have a CSS, why ask about it?

TTS is trivial. With CVP VXML apps, the only setting of importance is the RTSP.

DO debug on mrcp on the gateway to check. Standard stuff.

Geoff

CVP has lots of options, as I am sure you know.

As a beginner, concentrate on what you have and only on what you need to know for those options. Ignore the rest and come back to it later when you have the basics working.

·         Are you doing any microapps? If no, ignore that section.

·         Are you doing H.323? If no, ignore that section.

Guys,

I just wanted to check. Should we need to add nuance hostname or IP address
before configuring with CVP. In the process of nuance integration with
CVP...

Thanks,
Phani.

Phani,  you're missing some key elements of CVP's architecture.  CVP does not select a resource, it (or vxml server) produces the vxml which references a resource... something still needs to interpret this vxml and interact with the caller... that is the VXML gateway. The gateway (functioning as the the 'IVR') then reads this Vxml document and based upon it's config, will "choose" an ASR/TTS resource. If you do not have a CSS you will need to implement some static form of 'load-balancing'.
For example, if you have 4 vxml gateways and two TTS servers that handle the same amount of volume then it would be as easy as putting: ivr tts-server rtsp://xxxx/synthesizer on two of your gateways global config and ivr tts-server rtsp://yyyy/synthesizer on your other two gateways provided you have a dial-plan that distributes the VRU legs equally across the VXML Gateways. You can also add backup asr/tts servers but remember all this config lives on the VXML gateway or alternately in the vxml properties of your studio app, either way it is interpreted in one place and that is by the Vxml gateway's voice browser. I should mention that setting backup servers is configured in OAMP along with a gateway config.
I hope that gets you in the right direction, if you need further help consult the config/admin guide or an installation guide. The answers to this integration are VERY well documented.

Hi Ryan,

thanks for your reply.

Here we have 1 vxml gateway and 2 TTS servers, where one is primary and other is backup.

Should i need to configure both servers in Gateway Global config? and add the same in OAMP.

Thanks,
Phani.

This is an easy one, please try to figure these things out from the config guide.  Since i can quickly answer I will,  here's what you'll need on your 1 vxml gateway:

just one global config for the ivr setting:

ivr tts-server rtsp://tts-en-us/synthesizer

notice that "tts-en-us" is a hostname, we need to resolve that. This means you'll also need ip host entries:

ip host tts-en-us <IP of one TTS server>
ip host tts-en-us-backup <IP of backup TTS server>

Then in OAMP in the IVR tab for the call server you'll need to enable backup asr/tts servers.  If you're doing speech rec the configuration is nearly identical.

hi,

Both primary and backup servers need to configure in Call server or only backup server  in the IVR tab?.

Phani.

Have you even looked at the settings in the IVR tab?  Its a radio button, you're either telling CVP to build a retry (using the backup server) into the vxml or not. If you have more than one call server, their config in regards to ASR/TTS should be identical.

This is why I hesitated to respond to your question in the first place, not what the forum is intended for, we are once again flooding inbox's with questions/answers of little value to everyone who subscribes to this forum. Please don't reply, the answers are in the documentation.

Also I have configured the below change in my NSSServer.cfg.

server.mrcp1.resource.2.url VXIString synthesizer

server.mrcp1.resource.3.url VXIString recognizer

server.mrcp1.transport.port VXIInteger 554

ivr tts-server rtsp://10.87.29.225:554/synthesizer

Still it doesnt work. I dont see any call logs in NSS logs.

Any help wold be of great help.

Thanks,
Phani.

Mohamed,  all those versions are still available for download when I go to http;//network.nuance.com I can see them.
I would suggest it is to do with your login account at Nuance.  For example my login shows RealSpeak 4.5
download but not Vocalizer 5.0  Fortunately I use RealSpeak 4.5 and not the Vocalizer product.
I believe your login is set up by Nuance to selectively display some of their products, but not all of their products.
