More questions from the front lines:

Someone just noticed that if they right click on the Start of Call, there's a Start of Call >> YES/NO checkbox. Can you explain why that's there? And has it always been there, but I just never noticed it?

Which release added the ability for logs to be auto-deleted after a certain amount of time? Was it in place in CS 3.4.3?

In a very large application with (say) 180 pages, is there a way to find a list of all elements that are being 'SKIPPED' ?

Is there any plan to change the order of information in the Documenter. Again with a large 180 page app'n, customer would like to see each screen shot followed by the details of that page. Do you have a request for that sort of thing? If not, I'll add more details and have you submit it.

Thanks, Janine

Hi Janine,

Please see my answers below.

The Start of Call element is a specialized Page Entry element. Should you delete your Start of Call element, you can create a new one by dragging out a Page Entry element and changing that setting to "Yes". Much like an Error element, only one may exist for a given call flow.

Advanced logging settings as well as custom Loggers were introduced in Audium Call Services 3.6.x.

Currently the only way to do this is to review the call flow itself. If the student asking this question has any recommendations for what would be most helpful for them, we would be glad to enter it as a feature request.

The current layout of Documenter output is the result of consulting with several of our customers to determine what they were already doing, and then creating a feature which created similar output with the convenience of being generated directly from Studio. However, there is the expectation that the RTF output will generally be further customized by users, to better fit their organization's standards and/or needs.

Since the heritage of this feature is directly based on customer input, we continue to be interested in additional use-cases from those who are interested in this feature. Please ask your student for either an example of what they would prefer (a doc would be great), or for a more detailed explanation of how they would like to see Documenter work.

Thanks for the questions and feedback.

Regards,
Vance
