hey folks, any good examples illustrating the end-to-end requirements of using the tandberg xml api services?

i've found a lot of documentation defining the methods for transmitting and "transceiving"  information between clients apps and codecs. specifically using either the "getxml", "putxml", "formputxml" or "Bare-bone http(s)" access mechanisms. most of the documents are clear with the encoding and header requirements, and or the parameter format. but, i'm curious if there are other requirements like "authorization" or authentication that i may be missing?

it's usually helpful to work thru some examples, and i was hoping some might be available somewhere (c# or java).

thanks,
Regan

Hi Regan,
when it comes to authorization or authentication we are just using standard telnet/ssh/http/https methods and descriptions on how they work are outside the scope of what we document but is easily found by searching on the internet for examples :-)

We do have some java code that I can send you that shows you one suggested implementation though.

Regards,
David

Sean,
regardless of using a password or not you need to authenticate when using the http interface.
