Subject: RE: Telnet with C20

Where does one find the following file:
http://developer.tandberg.com/web/guest/integrator-modules/crestron-codec-c60c90

I get a 'Not Found' when trying this. I am in the same boat, where we need to control a C20 via Telnet. I think I'm just missing something, as I get the same hex string when I connect (does the same via Extron's DataViewer, but not via PuTTy), and cannot figure out how to proceed. Seems simple, but just am missing that one piece!

Thanks!

I'm actually wondering that myself...

Jeremy,

After some minor Binging around, I found the URL has apparently changed:

http://developer.cisco.com/web/telepresence-developer/integrator-modules/crestron-codec-c60c90
This document was generated from CDN thread

Hello,
When I connect to a C20 using a TCP/IP client symbol the codec returns me something like \xFF\xFD\x18\xFF\xFD \xFF\xFD#\xFF\xFD'
What do I have to return to the codec so I can initiate a Telnet communication
Thank you

Steven,
download the Telnet version of the Crestron module for the C-series (http://developer.tandberg.com/web/guest/integrator-modules/crestron-codec-c60c90) and look inside. Here you'll find the response codes for setting up a telnet connection.

Best Regards,
David

Is there a way to post what this hankshaking is.  I don't have the Crestron Systembuilder software so when I try to look into the crestron module to see how you can do this, I can't see to find it.  I am developing an app for the iPad and was having this same issue.  No problem with MXPs just with the C-series.
